Ann Hale is the President & owner of Hale Tour & Travel Group, Inc. The company consists of two different divisions - Royale Tours & A-Team Charters. After earning a Masters Degree in Education, Ann spent some years in various University administration positions. Coming from a long family history of small-business owners, Ann decided to get her MBA from UCLA and find a way to combine her love of travel with her background in the service industry. Tourism was the answer! In order to learn the trade from the ground up, she served as a Tour Director for various international tour companies. After learning what makes for a quality tour and how to keep clients excited and happy about their journeys, Ann moved into the ownership of Royale Tours a well-established Arizona Corporation (now celebrating its 21st year!) After observing the positive impact that a good and safe driver and a well-maintained coach can add to a tour, it was an easy decision to move into the motorcoach business. Our coaches take Royale Tours clients out and about, and also spend a large amount of time doing charter work. Ann splits her time between researching new tours and in helping promote A-Team Charters.

Chris Haddock, our Director of  maintanince and saftey Operations, has spent his 35 year career in some aspect of the large/heavy equipment business. Prior to becoming part-owner in A-Team Charters, he drove a gas-tanker truck throughout Arizona. You probably know that anyone who can negotiate the traffic congestion in Phoenix while towing two tankers of hazardous material has to be an excellent driver! During this work for British Petroleum, Chris attended training at the Smith System Driver Improvement Institute, and conducted training sessions for other drivers at BP. He has taken those skills and knowledge and applied them to the training and development of A-Team Charters drivers. Safety is our primary concern and who better to monitor that than Chris, a driver of over 1,000,000 miles without an accident. Chris also develops our standards and expectations of tour-coach drivers, which is an art-form unto itself! Safety, combined with a good-natured personality and a background in over-the-top customer service are among the traits that Chris looks for when recruiting drivers. Hes proud of the team that he has created  and our customers are the happy recipients!
